Try ad campaigns for website clicks in Instagram stories

We have great news: advertisers can now put clickable website links in their Instagram Stories ads. Last week we’ve announced that we now support Instagram Stories Placement for Video Views Objective.

The function is available in Aitarget tool, as well as in Business Manager.

Your ad containing a Call to Action of your choice that leads to your site will be shown between organic Stories.

The specs are the same as for other Stories ads:


  • 9:16 Full Screen Vertical Ad

File type

  • .mp4 or .mov (Video)

  • .jpg or .png (Photo)

Maximum File Size

  • 4GB (Video)

  • 30MB (Photo)

Video Length

  • Maximum: 15 seconds

  • Images show for 5 second by default


  • Recommended Resolution: 1080 x 1920

  • Minimum: 600 x 1067
